The next info meeting about the youth exchange will be on the 12 August in the youth centre anyway in Cologne. You will get a presentation about the project and can ask any question you may have. We will talk about the dates, which activities you can count with and how you can participate in any stage of the project. Of course, it will also be a matter what every participant has to contribute in order to be able to join.

Do you have an idea what activity is the best to make the participant of the different countries come closer together?Any participant is to feel free to talk about any part about their live in an open athmosphere, we are happy about any idea to create it even better.
Do you have the perfect idea of sports activities which would be great to do in group? Sports activities will be a part of the project (don’t be afraid, you don’t have to be sportive, you are just to have fun), so if there is a preference or idea amongst the participants, we will to our best to make it possible for you.
Is there a cultural aspect which should not be omitted? Just tell us!
How to hand in ideas
The easiest way is to just post your idea on this page or under any post in the “creative space”-category. Please don’t forget to mention your e-mail address if we want to get more information about you and/or your idea.

You are between 15 and 25 and want to pass three whole weeks of culture, travel and meeting other young people to exchange with? This is your chance, take it and join the project!
Just if you are afraid your parents might not me o.k. with it: The exchange will be guided by professional youth workers (youth centre anyway) who will take care of you. The German part of the exchange is organized by the sports association SC Janus in Cologne which over 1,400 people all over Cologne trust in.
What do I have to do to join?
All you have to do is to come to the next info meeting (see underneath) and join. If it should be unable to come to the meeting it is compulsory for you to write an e-mail to our contact address youthexchange@mediatank-cologne.de.

The content of the exchange in a nutshell: With the supporting money of the European youth program „youth in action“ we want to let a group homosexual youth in the age of 15-25 meet each other in their home towns to increase their positive self-image and the relations between the youths of the participant countries. This way, our main slogan is empowerment combined with tri-lateral; “Tri-powerment”. Off course we also plan to have a lot of fun!
